    Re: BRAIN FART thread

Here is a non model BF for you!

We have been trying to encourage tree swallows to nest in the yard for a number of years to no avail due to those aggressive little English House Sparrows. So - this year I brought out the heavy artillery in the form of a 16 ga off the back step.

Very effective I must say! A little hard on the bird house though...

I've got a similar one, no pics but it involves a skunk, my 12 gauge with 3 1/2" magnums and one of my storage buildings sliding doors that apparently was behind about 25-30 pellets. Every time I walk by that building I'm pissed off at myself but I did kill the crap out of the intruder!

10 so far, they come, sit on the perch by the entrance hole and call their sweet hearts to come have a look. Then I blast their little butts to kingdom come! Don't think they will go for the "open house" idea though...

    Re: BRAIN FART thread

    good times
A close buddy of mine live in a larger town had a raccoon issue with them tearing the soffit away and going into his attic to have babies .
Being a country boy at heart after many trys of being nice he pulled out his old ..22
He sat in his shed and waited for the raccoons to show up as they normally cross his back lawn.
Waitin is boring so to ease his boredom beer kept him occupied well the suckers showed up but apparently too much boredom affected his aim after a few missed shots he hit his next door neighbors AC unit !!!
much hissing raccoon ran away scared of hissing noise he packed up gun and took it apart and went inside
guy next door bought new ac unit
only to ways I like to drink !!
    By myself or with somebody!!
    miss you son always

    Re: BRAIN FART thread

Well I just finished swapping my first gas motor over to a new air frame. Couldn't get it to start...no spark...

Changed the plug, took apart the SP cap...still nothing so I ordered a new ignition.

Wondering about timing, if I have to adjust it for new ignition & how that is done I head to youtube. It was late Sat. night after a few drinks when the light came on! That sensor wire connected to the front of the engine isn't an "optional tac" lol I have to plug it in to the ignition! Obviously I didn't remember disconnecting it lol. After heading downstairs to confirm that I had solved my issue, I then left my TX on all night!

The good news is that I was able to cancel my order & still had enough charge in my TX to get out flying

    Re: BRAIN FART thread

Here is another non Model Airplane Brain Fart but non the less A true Fart. Called buddy mid week to chat and asked Him if snowmobile season was done for Him this year. Sometimes there are stories You shouldn't tell even to Good Friend's
He tells Me that he wrapped it up last weekend and was cleaning and servicing His sled for storage and part of His procedure is to storage Fog the engine, as We all know this is done with engine running and spraying Fog Oil into the intakes. Well . . . . pulled and pulled and the sled wouldn't start, , , so , , He tapes the throttle thumb lever full open . . . . First pull Vroom Vroom out the garage down the driveway, across the street and almost through the closed garage door across the street.

    And We want Flying Cars????
