I think I can make that prop sound reasonable, check this out. I wanted to try a 3 blade on my GP123 to hopefully pass a sound guideline at my nearest club. Couldn't find any locally so I ordered from Desert Aircraft, a nice 27x12TH Mejzlik. I added a few exhaust gaskets to get while having a shipment from DA. When checking out it said $17.50 shipping charge for USPS, this seemed reasonable. Later I get an email saying my order was fulfilled and shipped on UPS tracking number ......! Oh no! I know this means a ridiculous brokerage fee from UPS to get my package. A few days later I get the notification from UPS to pay $101.87 CDN for brokerage and tax. Visa charge from DA $286.50 Canadian after exchange, so total of $388.37 for 1 prop and some DA exhaust gaskets.![]()

Crazy expensive eh Paul!!
But that 27x12TH should be perfect!! I ran one of those on my GP123/Hype Pipes/Lazer and it made that prop howl! Really changed the feel for 3D. An amazing sound in a Reno race, LOL

Ya, I learned a bit ago that cross border shopping with UPS is like throwing money away, lots and lots of money. Not to be too whiny, but in the four or so years I've been involved in this hobby the cost has skyrocketed...shipping rates have doubled or tripled especially from the US, the exchange rate has changed 20 or 30% all in combination with normal price increases/inflation. Doesn't help that I've moved towards larger planes and high end equipment...but of course I'm the only one to blame for that!

For USA Orders, CBI can be your best friend. Even when shipped by UPS, Fedex, or other major carriers, no brokerage fees if no border crossing. My friend and I went to the USA to pick up his MSXR, we went through Niagara on a Tuesday at 11:00, there were absolutely no lines, we were in and out of CBI within an hour, and we paid the GST upon entry. Much much less expensive.

Ya Joe... I always ship to the US and go get in Niagara Falls or Lewiston. If you go at the right time, no waiting/lineups and seems about 1/2 the time I am waved through with no taxes due even though I declare everything.

Always seems to be the way lol, better they get it right & hopefully they make lot's, sounds like it could be popular. EF Extra300 is one of the best airframes out there too, I haven't decided between the YAK, Extra, or the new Slick for my next 120cc. BTW I got an 3DHS 89' Slick for my big electric flyer![]()

The 112 is $1610. at AMR, so I'm guessing this 140 will be close to 2G...
