Hey guys, I picked up a NIB Byron Pitts that after giving it an inventory is missing the elevators. Easy enough to fab up out of balsa but, I thought I'd see if anyone had a set of the original foam ones or maybe a crashed Pitts that the elevators managed to survive.
Thanks
Mike

Mike,
Search ironbay models. Byron models are still made by them. Some parts are not available but can be if ordered.

Unfortunately, the guys at Alberta's Littlest Airport didn't have any elevators, they had a couple of rudders on hand. So, still looking

I had a byron pitts , if I remember correctly the rudder was not much different than the elevators .you may be able to sand the rudders to work as elevator halves. get them to measure them up to see if they are long enough ,you would have to make the plywood parts to support the struts but that would be easy enough. just a thought
