If its the worst case senario and I have to buy a new engine to replace the Kingtech.. I think I might be going with IQ Hammer. Its very interesting the way all the tubine info is stored INSIDE the engine its self. What does this mean? It means you can swap the engine from one plane to another in under 5mins. All you have to do is unscrew 4 bolts, one wire and one or two fuel lines. Bingo Bango!!

Craziness. But I predict 13-15 weeks by the time all is complete.

Not bad if you are still stuck in the 1960's I guess

Hey Trev, Did they offer you a good deal on a replacement? i've heard from a couple of people who have pummelled Jet Central engines beyond repair is that they were offered an incredible deal on a replacement.

    My thoughts exactly Mike.

This is where Kingtech can truly shine to a previous customer.............Trevor already alluded to getting an IQ Hammer turbine.

When I plowed in my Boomerang Élan / Cheetah, The poor turbine looked rectangular, LOL. Jet Central said it was beyond repair (no surprise) and offered me a brand new Cheetah for $950US. Awesome

    Re: The dreaded JetCat repair..

Honestly... Im not as well off as many of the Jet guys I know... but its the name of the game and I wouldnt go back to just the Spinny things ever again. Its impossible.

It really hasnt fazed me... Im already deciding what to get next. I dont think it will be KT though.. Im not really impressed with their service anymore. Yes they may get it fixed fast.. but then they just send you one email(in my case to the wrong address) and thats it!! They do NO follow up. Even though I called 3 times.. They still couldnt put 2 and 2 together and realize that the engine had been looked at WEEKS AGO!!! I guess they just dont want to get paid. This is the same thing that happened 2 years ago. they finished it then it sat on shelf for a month before I finally got them to look for it. its just BADDDDD!

Im going JetCentral, IQ Hammer.. or even AJI a new company from Taiwan.
