Ya Gary... totally sold on the HV Revolectrix.

I got the blend 427 (4.27V/cell) and they are whicked. Also lighter than the standard Blend420

    Re: Giant Scale Brushless Power

Anybody have experience with one of these? http://www.dualsky.com/motor/GA_Series.shtml

Still trying to figure out which way I want to go with my 2M Vertigo...seems the motor of choice is the Hacker A60-18L. It may be petty but I hate the fact that it requires a mount that supports it front and rear. The Dualsky motor is a bit heavier but I'll probably save some by being able to mount it on standoffs. I also understand that these electric setups on this plane can be a bit tail heavy, so a bit of extra weight in the motor might not be a bad thing.

    Any opinions?

Is it okay to use these lipos with any motor/esc...for example I'll be running 12s on an esc and motor rated for 12s, will the voltage be too high? I like the idea because the amps should be lower and everything should run cooler, just don't want to over do it!

The HV Revo's work awesome and can be used anywhere so I'm told. The Blend 427 is 4.27V / cell, so on 12S you can get an extra 0.8V. The blend 435 is 4.35V/cell, so an extra 1.8V. It really feels like turbo boost!!!

    Re: Giant Scale Brushless Power

Another question for anyone that's had a Hacker A60....does it come with a sleeve so that it will work with a 10mm prop bore?? Seems to be the popular prop bore on the big props but the motor has an 8mm shaft.

Cory... At Thunderbolt RC, Jeff sells a shim Kit by Falcon that fits in the 10mm bore of the prop and is a perfect fit over the A60 shaft.

I use them on both of my A60's and they work mint.

Cory, just double check. Most manufactures say 12S but there always extra voltage hidden.
I contacted Jeti and the told me no issues on their stuff.
We have used the 4.27 on smaller stuff and no issues there either.

Cool...I have a sweet Jeti Mezon ESC thanks to Trevor, so should be no issue there. Still undecided on motor, but likely a Hacker A60-18L despite a few things that concern me.

RCCanucks and Trevor come through again...lol. I'm convinced there is no problem that can't be solved with RCCanucks! Thanks!
