So out of the 6 7954's I sent into hitec and the 7980. Two 7954's had destroyed gear sets 17$ two had damaged cases 0$ two were fine the 7980 was said to be fine but it had the jitters. Total cost 58$ usd. So now I have my servos for the kcs build. 7954's all around.

So I've heard, I've had a lot more of them that didn't than i have that did but I admit I'm starting to lose faith.

I was going to sell them after they got a clean bill of health. But now I have a need for them in the edge lol.

So I see you guys putting down the Hitech servos.....I am new to the hobby what should I be using?
Is it their entire range that is "bad" or just a selection...

I am currently in the .40 to .46 range of planes...ie and LT-40 and Somethin Extra

Their just out dated old hype the new hype for large scale is savox and mks. In the last couple years a lot of new brands have come to the market. In the end it all comes down to personal preference. The futabah boys love their bls servos too lol
