Got the painted lights cut out. Will shape up proper lenses soon. Will install lights soon but was able to get the wiring routed.
Savox 1270’s in each rudder, Secraft metal arms drilled with 1/8” bit and plastic nyrod insert. Hidden linkage is 4-40 threaded rod with CF sleeve

The clevis is so much more space efficient and it’s just as strong, if not stronger...

So last night I got started on the lights for the left fin.....
* LE red ACL
* TE white nav light
First I cut out the painted area where the ACL lens will go
The nav light was solid so I dremeled it out to 5mm to accept the LED that is coming
Then I did some bodywork on this area and touched up the yellow with my airbrush

The white TE Nav light is a modified Unilight lens cover. Once it was mod’d, I sprayed it with automotive clear with my airbrush to make it clear again!!

The red LE ACL light is cut from this block of red west system epoxy. Just a ton of cutting/shaping/sanding to get it exact!!!
Once it was all shaped, I wet sanded it to 600 grit and airbrushed on a coat of automotive clear!!!
Super happy with how it turned out!
