    Peter,

Ignore Trevor he KNOWS exactly what I'm talking about as he buys it from me ALL the time.

The Blue line is a Urethane Fuel Line that is good for most forms of fuel including Glow, Gas, Smoke Oil, Kerosene..... It stays flexible longer then Tygon and has superior gripping power on fuel nipples. So much so that sometimes Ii still use Tygon on the fill line but the Blue Line for vent and fuel feed to the engine. I use Viton inside the tank like you've already purchased.

It also comes in clear which is what the Jet Guys like to use to see the Jet-A flowing.

C'mon Trev don't deprive Peter of the usual quality BBT Build/Assembly by using inferior products! Just Sayin. ;-)

Trev I guess this ARF is stirring up some memories eh?

ok I get it . I have not done a install in a long time so I wanted to see how the master does it with all this new equipment so I can do my own in the future. I think Trevor used the yellow line because it matches the airplane . You know Trevor doesn't like it when things don't match ! Fashionista !!!!!

I tried to buy the clear stuff from you but you are out of stock.

The Blue doesn’t match this yellow/black/silver scheme so can’t buy it. Blue is so 1960’s Jim. Definitely not top shelf

GP123 mounted. Not sure why the need for such large standoffs? 42mm thick wood donut standoff made up! Nothing was included in the kit but I would have made up a wooden donut even if standoffs were included

Why are the flying wires installed on horizontal stabs? I understand why on the wings.

Same reason they are used on the wings, Structural Loading. They have the same function on the Stabs as on the wing. The stabs are thin so require bracing to prevent them from folding up during flight.

Re: Pilot Pitts Biplane / GP123

    GP123 installed

Manual shows small 1/4” standoffs... obvious something has changed since the manual was drafted. This one took a 42mm wood donut that I made up.
