Yes Ray I will take a vid, with sound.

Question, will I need to touch the needles for different header lengths, different props? Never done this before with a gas motor.

Rick ---- I would be the last person to ask about tuning , put that question out there to people with more experience then me !!! Jack ( Wingburner ) would be a good person to answer these questions . He has a shinny screw driver , just for this kind of tuning !!!

As far as props ---- I think you have two choices ( 25/8W or 24/10 ) is what a lot are using with good results . I use the 25/8W only and it doe's well for me .

    Looking forward to the video

Yes, you might have to, although once tuned close on the can with the first prop it may not need changing. Tough to tune perfect without flying.

Did they have any suggestions for header length on their canister? Some canisters rpm doesn't change with length unlike a pipe.

Can't wait to hear it and see the results.

Yes I am well aware that most canisters do not need to be tuned. Just with this set-up since I have the exhaust charge entering the can at the same time I thought I would try to get the best I can from from it. There is no one else doing this so there is no base line for lengths of headers. Should be interesting. If I get more than 7000 from a 24x10 I will be happy. But I do believe it can do much better than that.

    DA's are designed to run at 6300 - 6600.

Did you see 7000 with a previous setup?

DA's are like Harleys, run at a lower RPM so last longer. If you wanted a 7000 Rice Rocket you should have gone with a GP61 single.

But if you wanted low end grunt, reliability and longevity you chose the right engine. But don't under prop it and lean it out to try and obtain your magical 7000 number. LOL

Did one header end up longer then the other? Got pics of it on the stand?
