    Huh thats a bummer, seems QC is lacking across the board. I almost feel like calling AJ and letting him know where they can improve, not to complain lol I'll leave that here but I just wonder if he is aware or if he's tried to make changes but the factory won't do anything?!!?

    My laser has the following issues;
    Cowl and/or motor mount template way off

    Surfaces hinged very poorly. BTW, taping them at full deflection after scalping out a crap load of glue has relaxed them for almost a smooth feel, still not perfect

    Hardware- all garbage, ball links are oxidized and crazy stiff, thrown away, the 4-40 bolts and nuts are clearly a bad chinese knock off, hold them side by side with Dubro and the threads look funky, won't trust those on a 35%er(no they are not metric). the landing gear bolts were SAE and the nuts supplied were metric, weird. Had my own nuts to use hehe i said nuts
    Blind nuts in one wing are rough as hell, gotta find a 6mm tap to clean them up and new bolts since the 2 in that wing are fooked. or I'll replace them

    Other than all that it's great.... graphics are all on now!

    definitely a bum kit, the ball links were not a visual problem, oxidized so much they were cock stiff and thats not good(on the plane at least). Replacing all that with HD dubro, which is what my 580 came with. Yes the 580 had a few design issues which I fixed on mine before I flew it, thanks to you guys posting before i got mine LOL

    Don't get me wrong, I love all these arf's but we have choices and no matter how nice the AJ guys are to deal with I've gotta get value and when the cost it the same but quality is different I take notice. I'm not saying I won't buy another but I'll be talking to the Aj crew before I do. They can do better, a few simple things and presto.

    I'm sure it will be a stud airframe once I fly it, the vids I've seen is why I bought it. I won't be breaking in the 120 so I intend to thrash it right off the get go!!

    I had metric and standard in the hard ware kit. Both types in the plane. And one blind nut that was destroyed as well dean.
    The wing tube was so tight I’m not sure if I had much left of it after sanding lol

    Ya it seems wing tubes are hit and miss with all brands, my aeroplus 111" was crazy crazy tight and my 74" EF edge was silly sloppy. lol
    This Laser is just right so positive note there, covering is nice also and seems well built as far as glue in the fuse etc, some slather that shit all over.

    POS Lazers. I would burn them guys. Best to use them to keep warm.
