well thanks for the kind words... here is the video - Maiden 92" AJ Raven with Edge wings.
I've mostly been flying Extras and Lasers for a while and was craving an Edge. Really like the way this model gives the option for both. Looking forward to getting more stick time on both, it seems like the Edge wings are better for high alpha, low, slow (probably tumbles too but not tried yet) and the double taper wing better for scale aerobatic type flying
Flies much lighter than my 93" Laser did and I switched this one to a rear exit canister, my Laser had front exit which may have robbed some power

FINALLY maidened the 111" Egde, ya big floater as advertised!! What am most impressed with was the GP 123 right out of the box, started to rip the 29x9 on the second flight. I leaned the low end from factory a couple blades and then its ripping that prop easy. Temps stayed in the 260-290 range, as usual the forward cylinder is hotter. It took my 120 about 90 flights to reach this level of prop rip. Day was cut short as the canopy dowels both went MIA, had epoxied them in but apparently the glue did not adhere to the carbon fibre.

Yeah not sure what they think balanced is overseas lol. My laser is half inch behind where it’s tail heavy in their books. And still slightly nose heavy lol. Only thing i can do is heavier servo in the tail, put a battery tray in the turtle deck, or the dreaded lead weights on the tail.

Rodger that, ya I'm gonna fly it like it is for what few times I will get out before guiding season and then I'll switch it from pull/pull to push pull, that will cure it. Really just want to get some fuel thru the motor. This is the first plane I have flown without weighing it first LOL but I am impressed with the vertical pull out on the 123, the airframe is quite draggy which is what I wanted so happy happy thus far, not sure this motor needs pipes other than to tame down the noise haha
