Just took my snorkel off Ron....it is unbelievable here. we just got done with 7" of rain a week ago, then the most severe thunderstorm I have ever witnessed laid another 2" on us in 1.5hrs. Hwy through town just reopened. I bet basement damage will be 70% or higher and a lot of business were flooded including where I work...sad sight I must say....The Hut survived though!
State of emergency...whatever that means!! Lots-O-cops floating around!!![]()

Currently 50k North of my cottage where I'm headed to this weekend for a weeks Vaca. Smelt some smoke Last Saturday when I was up ther. Drove up to the area last Wednesday. Couldm't see any evidence of fire but could smell it.
A friend was driving up to Sudbury last Thursday night for an IMAC Contest and ashe passed through French River he couldn't see the French River Trading post due to smoke and it is only 100 feet west of HWY 69 where he was driving on so looks like it had flared up again.
Close to 10,00 Hectares lost already. All due to an overheated Quad that broke down in the bush being operated by the PowerLine company that's taken 5 acres of our cottage for damn Turbine generator transmission lines that are running from where the fire is down to Parry Sound. But they have stopped all construction until the fire is out.

Wow. Another week of vacation Jim? You’ve already had 2 or 3 weeks off this spring / summer!!
Even Ed and Bob who are self employed don’t get that much!!
