rodger that Trev thanks, I am literally amazed though, like 10 flights in a row I would lean it and I have yet to hit the too lean wall, guess just keep going.

One thing I did that has helped and likely why it was so rich was it was running pretty hot, I had lots of air exit but the intakes on the 89 slick were too small, I've opend them up and it;s helped, going to do more again.

What temps to find yours to run at?
My last flights I was between 275-320 but mostly around 290 F

I'm in that range for temps also Dean. Really depends where you have your sensors though.

Cory had issues with blowing lots of oil from his DA70 and he sent it back to DA for a checkup a few weeks ago . Cory - has DA gotten back to you on it yet?

Hey on another note, been loving the crap out of my DA 70 / 89" slick combo, been leaning that motor out every flight, I've taken the low down 1/2 turn and it's really coming alive, crazy nice but my question is when the hell will it stop puking out this silly amount of oil???????? One flight is equal to a days worth of sludge or more than some of my other motors.

what kind of oil you using? I used amsoil dominate in that past and it would puke out nasty sluggy black. switched to sabre line and went away. now running klotz and it seems to be clean too

sensors are in the proper spots, not first rodeo LOL back of motor bottom fin

For shits and giggles on the ZDZ 97 I'm pissing around with, I put one on the back and one on the front(cause there are 2 sensors and figured might as well use them both) and there is about a 20-30 degree F difference throughout a flight on that motor

Redline is way way overpriced. I'm going to go Lucas semi synthetic once my redline is gone/always available at canadian tire. The guys selling it here are raping us!!!

$25 redline...$12 for Lucas semi synthetic....same size bottle and has been rated better that redline.....no more hype at The Hut!!!

There is only one oil that does anything... iPone Strawberry scented. The seeds are like lubrication boosters.

Everything else is garbage.

Oops... hope that doesn't start an oil war.
