Besides figuring out what to do about them taking my car, WTF is with insurance prices? You know what it costs to insure ONE 17 year old boy? Let alone 2??? OMFG!!!!

Yep - Not quite as extreme - 2 daughters (21 & 23) (on their own now)
Don't let those boys get a ticket/fender bender, they will be lucky to ever afford their insurance.![]()

I know. But what can you do with a 17 year old? Insurance only comes down after you can prove you have been an INSURED driver for a couple of years. So if you don't get coverage to start, you cant claim x years of driving experience if you weren't insured during those years.
A sixteen year old that gets his licence and then does not drive for four years DOES NOT have 4 year clean driving record if he wasn't INSURED for those 4 years. So the insurance companies have found a way to guarantee they soak ALL new drivers regardless of age. Bastards.

Been there, done that with 2 daughters. (slightly cheaper than boys)
Wait till they want their own car for college/university!! $$$$$
