Hope this 140 works out for you guys, would be good in the EF 110" yak or maybe a lightly setup 115" AJ laser.

SO here's some numbers quick;
zdz 140 2500grams just motor 154mm firewall to spinner 279mm plug to plug, no caps
da 120 2250 grams just motor 158mm firewall to spinner 302 plug to plug with caps
so the 140 is about 8.8oz heavier, slightly shorter firewall to spinner and maybe a hair narrower but very close if you add the caps over the plugs.
Will be a great motor that for airframes that need a bit of nose weight on a push pull setup! Kinda wish I had this motor right now for this 111" edge instead of the gp 123, its a big plane and maybe could use the extra power?!?!?
Dean once I get it I will do an actual weight on the components.
As for planes I have to agree on the larger ones but of course depends on it's performance. I have always thought the 115" Laser but worry the engine might be to light and not be able to get enough weight forward.
I have sent out requests for available exhaust options to ZDZ and JMB. I do believe the DA 150 header will work, same bolt spacing just a little shy on the port size. I with a little work they'd work fine
If a person could keep it 33lbs max it would fantastic.

Rodger that, ya might be hard on the 115" to get under 33lbs. I wonder though for balance if you had the 123" long version cowl you could get the motor out farther??? I think I read somewhere when you buy the 123" you get both cowls for depending on what motor you use, i.e. quad vs twin.
Might be worth a call to AJ crew or PM terry's custom, he'd know if that motor would balance on the 115"

Dean... our buddy here had a 111” Aeroplus Edge with DA120 and it was more than enough power
