If worried about range just monitor the receiver strength on your telemetry feedback on each antenna. With my jet, I was out pretty far and still was getting strength 5 or 6 out of a 9 ( 100%)... I know you are gonna love this radio. No more wiggle the sticks on a range check like everyone else does. Just walk away and watch the antenna strength. Also gives you an idea if antennas are placed in a bad spot or getting blanked out so you can move the tips around to get better reception.
Awesome sounds cool! That will be great to see this information!

Range check....walking around wiggling sticks...lol I guess we are supposed to do this...? haha. I shouldn't say this but I'll be honest, I've never done it, & I've never seen it done by any of the guys I fly with.

Channing so I guess you never flew on 72 MHz as that was the only way to range check. LOL

In regards to Rx I would ask what size or types of planes are you flying? Where you Spectrum before using the Power-safe Rx?

I fly 3D, IMAC and some sport scale stuff. I was exclusively using the CB200 with 3 Satellite. The 3rd satellite was setup to turn on RX from Tx. I then discovered the CB100 and use those on 70cc planes and under and I am only using the CB200 on 100cc plus. I only use normal REX11 or REX 9 for 60" electrics and RX 5L for indoor foamies but now you can get the light 4L.

    Nope never flew 72Mhz lol

OK yes I'd like to get this figured out & order what I need this week. Yes I'm coming from Power Safe 9ch RX on my aerobatic planes. I have a 100cc & also couple 60-70cc, one gas one electric, & also a 60'' electric.

The package came with 2 x EX7 & 1 x EX R12 EPC. So I'm thinking one of the EX7 for my 60" electric, & is there any reason not to use the EX R12 EPC in my 100cc? I have servo match box's, so I don't really need a CB for that, so otherwise what is the advantage? I was considering getting the "jeti electronic dual redundant with magnetic key DSM 10" So that I can run 2 lipo batteries same as I already am doing. The CB200 seems a bit overkill if I only need 8 channels, & if I have to buy 2 more RX it makes for an expensive setup for one plane.

For my 70cc again I was thinking of the of the EX R11 with maybe the EX R3/RSW for extra RX & switch from TX. I guess I can still run 2 batteries into the RX without the "dual redundant DSM 10"?

That’s exactly what I’m doing/Planning as well Channing. I’m putting CB200’s in my jets, and my smaller aerobatic 50-70cc stuff just using say a REX12 with a DSM10 for redundant batt sharing and isolation. I think a CB200 for anything under 100cc is over kill in my opinion.
In terms of the CB’s advantages though, just to mention: not only power distribution and fault/overload/short protection of every servo plugged in. You also get dual batt telemetry for mah used (capacity) so right off the batt you get individual batter voltage, receiver voltage, ma draw per side, AND capacity used of each pack. If you price out buying the expander, a couple of MUI 30’s it starts to add up and then a CB200 makes more sense. Again personally I wouldn’t bother under 100cc

    Regards

Hey Eric, cool! I ordered the CB200 combo with 3 EX R3/RSW for my 100cc, & CB100 to try in my 70cc

My DS16 arrived the other day, I get home in 3 days & can finally check it out & start playing with it
