Woot. 21 WarWing kits are paid for and ordered.
Huge thanks to StevenR for giving us this lead. Ulf is currently cutting them and will hear soon on when they will be ready. Lots of work for him.
Here's a few pictures of the one Ulf is putting together with his comments...
"With the foam, I will include the wing strip, servo mounts, motor mount and rudder horns. I use Gorilla glue and water for assembly. The weight on my is 650 g take off weight with a 1300 mA battery. A 2200 mA will add 80 g. I will use 3 cell"

WHOEVER? We KNOW Exactly WHO! Guess you need new glasses.
Dave taken as intended but too funny Chef's Plate just opened a Fulfillment Center just down the road from work. If I cut through some parking lots I can walk there in 5 minutes.
But I'll take yo up on your offer to paint, thanks.!

I'm going to weigh mine tonight... felt like more than 650 grams, but that was with a 1600mah 3c battery. I used some mid sized servos that I had sitting around, and some standard sized servo arms from Futaba... Not too happy with the throws that I'm getting, but I can tinker with that. Mine may need to go on a diet.
Since my understanding is that the number 1 rule for this event is that there are NO RULES, will there be a strong suggestion that 3cell batteries are the max, or is this going to be complete free for all? (Not that that's a bad thing)
I'm going to stick a fox40 whistle to the front of mine, so that I can strike fear into all that oppose me! Kind of like a Stuka dive bomber!

LOL... only rule is combat Paul
Gotta do what it takes to keep flying!
Knowing Dan D and Bob S (and a few others, not naming names), expect there to be some 6S and 8S systems
