    Re: BRZ Composite Pipes!!

Been following this thread with great interface. Building a plane with 35 gas engine in it and very interested in the out come with a small muffler added to the stinger. Would have been interesting to see the outcome with the header length increased with the muffler Or is this this now a dead subject.

Not dead yet I hope. I was told BRZ was working on an after-muffler for this but have heard nothing since.

I will wait for those mufflers before I test headerlength any further!

For now I use these pipes to bend balsa wood!!

Thanks for the reply and at least they are still useful even if they are not in a plane.

LOL! Makes for a great form for shaping a tapered curve out of Balsa!!

    Re: BRZ Composite Pipes!!

If I may ask are both those pipes for a 35cc engine. I believe the one is the BRZ and the other is ?. Could you tell me what the outside diameter of the two pipes are, have difficulties fitting a pipe in an Inversa33

    Re: BRZ Composite Pipes!!

The small one is a BRZ 35cc pipe. The larger one is an ES Composites 55cc pipe.

    Will get measurements soon

Sorry but I have to ask again looking at building another 35cc plane and would like to know if anything has happened with BRZ tune pipe.

Nope.. nothing yet. Still waiting for an update from BRZ on the after-muffler sections. As they are, they are pretty much useless due to the noise. Once I get the after-mufflers for the pipes, I'll do more headerlength testing. But not going to waste my time until the after-mufflers are done and in my hands.

For now they are being used to shape balsa for Leading Edges!!

    Re: BRZ Composite Pipes!!

I just spoke with Dave Sullivan at PaneBender.
Small Smooth Pipes coming out now.

I have them on 3 platforms including the DA35.
Order them. Don't waste time. Everything Else has been junk.
