Just received the new HSD Super Viper Version 3
All I can say is WOW. I was very impressed with quality.
The wing plugs in using a special multi wire harness and the same applies to the nose section. The built-in controller manages all the servos and the front doors, as well as the smoke pump which is included with its tank and injector nozzle already installed and the Afterburner light ring.
It took one hour to build no turbine yet though, waiting for the M70s to arrive.
It took less than 1 hour to assemble (without turbine). Granted I will be changing a few things once the M70 arrives, like some of the tubing and the header tank.

Wow nice upgrades on this version - I hated the red Ferrari colors on the one Ali flew last summer - Love the US colors lights and afterburner
Hope to see it flying in Ottawa this summer.
Thanks Peter for supporting OVJ in June!

Rec'd my super viper and pretty much have it together. Didn't change much but did remove the smoke pump and plumbed (with larger tubing) both tanks for fuel as I'm running a K60.
This foam jet is quite a departure from my normal jet interests which is scale and larger composite sport models. I wanted this as something utility that I could just fly without a lot of maintenance.
BUT if I had a complaint it would be with the totally ridiculous looking seats that come in this model!
Not to worry, that's about to change.
I've created a molded seat back to accompany one of the JHH Castle 5 pilots. Should look much better. If anyone else wants a seat back to add to their Viper I've added them to my website: http://strictlyscale.net/products/sportbustejectionseat
Here are a few photos, i'll post more once I get them installed and the pilots painted. BTW, the stock seats pop out of the canopy frame very easily.
