    Re: Aura FC8 Reference Library

Hi, question for those that have flown the Aura. Is the expo in the Aura similar to Spektrum? I just set up my Beast 60, with 2 Spektrum satillites. I haven't come across anything that says it is or isn't.

    Many thanks, Daren

Its hard to tell, but in my setups your need less expo with the aura than if you're were to choose your TX.

Start with them same amount and tune it from there

Just an update, finally got a chance to try this thing out today. 4 flights on the Yak 55 with the Aura on low gain and high gain. All i can say is ithink im going to love this thing. First flight was gyro off, winds 15 gust 30-35. Was a bit of a handful. Last 3 flights were varied at low and high gains same winds and it was like the wind wasnt even there. Once it warms up a bit more i can really start to experiment with it...too damn cold in the wind today. I used Joes setup just so i can get used to this thing and start tweeking from there. Come on summer.

Same story over and over again...very few people are against them once they try them. The resistance is still strong among those who haven't partaken...lol. Pretty soon it will be just like mixes, expo and all the other tools we use that are now widely accepted. I still think that mixes are more akin to 'cheating' than stabilizers...I actually like working the sticks to draw nice straight lines in knife edge for example.
