The engine feels totally different, it's like it has a free floating crankshaft, so smooth.

    www.airmanwheels.com

Doesn't come with the bearings, but I will source them locally for a couple bucks each. I just send Airman a note asking for the mfg and part # of the bearings.
Trev that Sucks but was about to order some for the Vertigo. What size would I need 4"?

Joe I use to run ceramic bearings in my Roller Skates back in the 80's. Spent $400 on 8 bearings but was well worth it. One good push and you could do about 2.5 laps of the rink. Stopping was interesting to say the least. The skating surface also wasn't your standard wood or concrete but was a poured polyurethane coating that you laid down with something that looked like a mini Zamboni! I use to DJ at the rink so skating was free. DISCO RULES! LOL!

    Donning Flame Suit NOW!

OMG....I remember gathering my siblings and cousins and off to the roller rink! I guess I am that old, but how much fun was that. I had junky skates, never even thought guys were "hopping up" their equipment....very cool

I can only imagine Jim in a sparkling Elvis jump suit DJ'ing on roller skates. Yeah I remember the days at the Recreatec in Laval roller dancing to disco too. Guilty as charged.

Back then ABEC1 were the cats meow.

Ya just standard black leather skates but Binged them out with the $400 Bearings and $200 Urethane wheels that NEVER saw a road surface or anything other than the Hitec floor. The place was called "The Great Skate Place" in Meadowvale (Mississauga). It's now a Casino Rama Gaming Center but back in 77 when it was built it was purposely designed as a Roller Rink. $100,000.00 Lighting System and Sound System in this place. The Sound equipment was outstanding with direct drive turntables with slip clutch for cuing records, YES I said Records or Vinal for you youngins. The table would come up to full speed in 1/4 revolution. This was way before the DJ's started doing reverse swipes on turntables but these things could have done it.
