    Sports Master; First build ever.

Grant Mckay of Sudbury GAVE me this kit last year when I earned my wings at SMAC.
Been working on it on and off for several months as we also renovate the house.
RCCanucks has been a great resource for information, thanks to ALL, a specially mention to TBrum for covering and Grosbeak for making me feel normal (think I have a twist too)

Trying to do a Canadian theme. It looks much worse up close, but very happy with my learning's.

Congratulations Lloyd!!! I've be at this for 40 plus years on and off so I'm from the old school "If you don't build you don't fly". There is nothing like the feeling you get when your first creation breaks ground - even if it is followed by rather loud crunching noises (as happened in my case) - don't give up.

That being said, one of great things about this hobby is that there always seems to be something new to learn and attempt. I too keep learning from the Brums and Grosbeaks of the world, true masters of our craft. Keep up the good work and keep in mind "I doubt that even Trevor's first creation was museum quality but now -- wow!!!!

Dave, love your threads as well...
I've got an evolution 60nx, other than that Grant has supplied some suitable servos. Pretty basic set up with a spectrum receiver.

Started with some other types of covering, but soon realized the reason Trevor uses Mono-cote and windex.

    Thanks for the encouragement.

Well maybe but that would be god awful depressing ! LOL - Trevor - any pics of your first efforts??? I imagine they would make mine look like something carved out of a poplar tree with a chainsaw. It's all good as long as we are having fun - right??
