Something a little different than what's normally posted here on Canucks. I have 2 Mini-Buckle short kits that are going together here. It's basically a smaller, electric powered version of the Turnbuckle, which looks like the first 3 pics. The Mini-buckle is the last pic. I also should have some contributions from Mr. Droppo here, since #2 is his and some custom fabricated components will be coming out of his shop.![]()

I purchased the kits from Rolly Siemonsen in Kingston. They come in 59" (glow/electric) and 48"(electric). My 59" is a blast to fly, but since it's glow powered, it has been hanging up for a while. Pretty excited to get these in the air. I will be using the recommended setup, while Dan should be dropping off a sweet Hacker power system next week. Here's some links to Rolly's build files.

I've already started the fuselages, so i need to catch the thread up to the build. This is a pretty basic build, no special skill required here except a little attention to detail. The fuse has a really low parts count and assembles quickly! Rolly's tab and notching makes things easy.

Attached are a few pics of my regular Turnbuckle.
I upgraded the colour scheme last week from all clear (last 8 years) to a custom vinyl livery that I designed and cut on my Stepcraft machine following my CAD work.
It's powered by a custom Jett .56 with a Jett muffler. Does around 18,500rpm with a 10x7 prop. Wicked fun airplanes!!!!

Dan, Love that classic Florio scheme! Here's a couple if mine. The red one is the only one left, goes nicely with a piped .55AX swinging an 11x7 Vess. I've really been thinking about re-powering it with a 10cc gas.
