Love the shot of the Vertigo build table as advertising, Scott, LOL. Coming along really nicely!!
Here are a couple pictures of the coring completed. Takes about 2-3hr to core a wing. I will weigh the before and after of the other wing tonight to show the savings. I'm guessing 3oz/wing. Significant.

Hey Brian. I've never seen them sold here. But I don't get out much. You can just order direct from Foam Factory.
That being said, a hot knife won't work on a CompARF... it works on soft foam like polystyrene, Depron, EPP, etc

Been working on my Yak and re-doing all the setup on my 35cc Extra 260 converting it over to the Aura. I'm really considering converting the Extra over to electric...it is very light for a 79" wing, especially if I can get away with a 6s power system like the Hacker A60 6XS. I love tinkering with gassers, but the consistent power of electric is so nice for learning...nice not having to worry about a dead stick doing low and slow stuff as well. Losing my Slick to 3 dead sticks is still stinging!
In any case, the Vertigo got put on the back burner for a bit...my other planes are just about ready to fly, I want them all ready to go in case we get a good break in the weather!
As for the Vertigo I'm currently in the hinging stage of the rudder and elevators. Next will be the servo pockets in the horizontal stabs. The wings are almost done, just have to put on the outside end plates and hinge bits.
