I called them yesterday and spoke with a different lady this time(the grumpy one, if you have dealt with them before) She said the same thing as the first lady.. $580US but!! that they where waiting for my go ahead to repair it??? No!! I just want you to look at it cause its so Fu^$ing pretty!! What a game. Since the first lady told me the price a month ago, why would she have not asked for the Go-ahead then. How long has it been sitting on the shelf waiting for a go-ahead from the costumer, that has no clue they are waiting for a go-ahead?? The More realistic reality is that it just sits on the shelf till the customer makes a stink and then they put down the engines from California and fix yours![]()

I hope you get it soon. Seriously no excuse for that.
Good call for you and Bryan to send yours away during the winter.

I actually ordered my SPT5 turboprop through AJ Hobbies in Toronto and they worked directly with JetCat to get one up here. So I never had to talk to Jet Cat directly. They told AJ's 4 weeks if payment was sent. We then found out they waited for about 8-10weeks to make one up in Germany. Then ship it to the US, then up here. Was a disaster. 0 communication and they had the nerve to get mad at AJ's for being impatient.
Luckily I ordered it in October and had it before Spring hit. It has been awesomely reliable and never an issue. I will likely be near the 25hr mark at the end of 2016, so I will have to go through this next Fall/Winter.

You see... Whats interesting about that, is that the lady on the phone said they received a large shipment of parts from Germany. So I think its pretty obvious that they are no longer making or even assembling the engines in the USA anymore. Just the odd repair and bearings.
God Bless the NOT All American company. HA!
