Ok boys, I am still waiting on my order that contains all my pnumatic lines and valves. So I haven't gotten much further since the lines are in the belly of the beast, and don't want to have to take it all apart to swap out the lines and fittings. Another little issue... The servo's I got to replace the flap servo's are to big... They don't fit in the wing!!!!! So back to great hobbies to try and find some servo's that fit. I like to try and keep the same brand servo's in one plane, kind of a pet peeve I guess. Plus I really just haven't had good luck with spektrum servo's which are the servo's on the flaps. They were also on the elevator but I had swapped them out during my initial inspection before the maiden. I swapped them out because there was a bad clicking noise coming from one of the servo's. They were supposed to be new... So I swapped them out for Savox with much more torque and better specs.
Anyway I at least put the previous equipment trays out of my old F-15 into the new one, and started to work on the wings..but didn't get that far when I found that the flap servo's didn't fit...

Ok, slight change in layout. Since it was horribly nose heavy and with the additional hardware I decided to make a few changes. I prefer to make things as removable as possible. So now the nose will be the "avionics" bay, and the mid/aft fuselage will be the pnumatic section. I made a simple tray to install all the pnumatic hardware on that I can remove when I need to. I have placed the hardware in the general area where they will be. Now I am just deciding on weather or not to install the airtanks up front, and weather or not to add another tank for the brakes/airbrake. If I add another tank I will keep the systems separate and have a little redundancy. I have also got all my new airlines, and have started replacing all the lines. Hope to get more done tomorrow.

Ok, so I got a few things done. The finally layout will be 2 air tanks up front for the gear and gear doors. One tank under the pneumatic tray for the brakes and the airbrake. I finally got all airlines replaced, routed, and secured. I also finalized the placement of the pneumatic components. I am just waiting on another order from altcare for the final parts for the system.
Here is the tray
Air lines for the main gear doors
Main gear and brake lines.
Nose gear and door lines
Here's the tray and the tank for the brakes/air brake in their place
Forward tanks in their place

Nice job on the F15, in my opinion it's a great first scale plane, I bought one a couple years ago, it was in rough shape at first, I figured I would repair and paint it to see if scale was for me or not before I decided to go with larger scale planes.
I found flight times a bit short, so I made a centre tank, the plane is a tank with all the fuel on board, I can fly for over 12 min. I have honestly never even weighed it, but I am sure it's way over 30-35 lbs, it's flying on a old Simjet 2300, I fly with all the surfaces, apparently the heavy f15 flies best with ailerons, but if you are starting fresh with a light airframe and 30+ pounds of thrust tailerons are the way to go! Save all the weight of servos in wings and that way you can do some really amazing High Alfa flying.
