You gotta love those big biped, but they're too much of a bear in terms of set up for my liking... Even 1.20 size is really pushing it, I'll likely find a place in the trailer where that pt-17 can sit with the wings on otherwise I'll never fly it.

Make sure you post some pics when you get to airbrushing, that's really cool.

    Ok, here is the pic

Ouch... I don't find I get any more pumped about the big planes than I do about the smaller ones anymore, nothing wrong with the 60e, I'm a little curiious how it facilitates easy battery swaps though.

The Beast 60e has a hatch that extends all the way to the engine cowl. The battery area is cavernous and is easy to access. Just like the old Jaguars, lift the back and pull forward and the hood opens.

Re: What's your winter project this year?

My winter project is to "BEAUTIFY A BEAST".

I recently purchased the large Hanger 9 100cc size one and immediately stripped off all of the covering.

I plan on making some general improvements from the discussions from what I have read on another build thread. I've got two paint schemes in mind, both easy to see in the sky but need a little more information on where to get all of the decals. I'll be talking to Trevor for some help!

But the major change will be in making it easier to quickly set up at the field. With the covering off it's much easier to see where modifications can be made.

Pictures and posts to come on a separate thread.

Going to continue on with my scratch build (in my signature) and a new plane that I haven't even decided on yet
