Working on an older 2m composite pattern plane Called a nova. Still puttering on my 42% JTEC edge. Always got something on the go. Shop is a great distraction from work. Appreciate you asking.

Yes, I heard it was originally jack marcotts. Not making as much headway on it as I would like but slowly moving the needle forward on it. DA 150 for power. Got sidetracked as well painting a prop and wheel pants for it. Canopy was cracked so I filled and painted it with holographic paint. This paint looks like it’s alive in the light.

Is the Edge Yellow? It was Jack's then I bought it along with an Orange and White one and sold both to Mike after flying the orange one for two seasons. The Yellow one was New and untouched when I sold it to Mike.. LOL..

I had a DA 170 in the Orange and white but only sold Mike the Airframes as I transferred the DA170 to a 40% Carden 260 which I should have never sold. LOL!

Orange and white one is the one I have. Monocote covered engine cowl. Completely stripped the whole thing down and recovering including all the covering off the cowl. That took a bit though

That's the one I was flying with the DA170. Let's see some pics of your recovering job!

Not much to see yet. Just stripped covering, fixed the small amount of damage to the wings and sanded too 1000grit. Ready for covering. Fuselage is still intouched in orange and white. Cowl is done and to get it to the primed stage I bet I have close to 100hrs or more. But having a ton of fun and learning along the way.
