Some Nice Wood!!!!

I had a great chat with Dezi at HobbyWoods Online the other day. Dezi sent me a few goodies and I opened them this morning.

I really like how they are all packaged up and came shipped in a nice box.

Super high quality wood!! The balsa is definitely contest grade and ultra-clear. Also nice to see no rippling in the sheeting from the planer!!!

First pic is a piece of 1/4" maple!!

Second pic some 3/8" x 3/8" basswood sticks

Third pic is some 3/8" x 3/8" balsa sticks

Fourth and Fifth pics are sheets of basswood



Really nice stuff... love the basswood sheets. Excited to play with them

I saved the best pieces for last, LOL

Some beeeeautiful balsa sheeting... 1/8", 1/16" and the last picture is some ultra-thin 1/32"

That 1/32" has me twitching like crazy



Just wanted to thank Dezi again for the great chat and for the wood. Definitely will be using HobbyWoods Online in the future.

Hey Dave. We don't have a store yet. We work out of our homes. Having a retail store costs too much and we don't want to carry too much overhead. You are more than welcome to stop over and say hi sometime at my place if you like. Just give me a heads up when you are coming. We are looking at purchasing a shop in the future though so all our machinery can be together and we don't have to bounce from Delhi to Ingersoll to Vienna all the time...
