Just got this plane today....has lots of presence and should be fun...

GP178 on straight mufflers
Falcon 31x12 CF prop
Jeti CB210
Cortex Pro
Blue Bird M-52B V2 throughout
MKS 1250 on throttle
Tec Aero Ultra IBEC
Pilot RC smoke pump

This 178 is a beast....mine came with a Tillitson carb and my buddy’s with a Walbro....jury is out which one is preferable....we shall see

Nice two piece cowl and baffling is included with the kit package

Ordered the EF cloth wing and stab bags....seem like decent quality

She’s all ready to go.....pretty standard EF assembly....They don’t give assembly manuals anymore and I kind of miss it to be honest....

Had to hack the cowl a fair bit to accommodate the stock mufflers....the cowl has a pretty aggressive taper..

Anyway maiden may not be for another week or so as I’m getting ready for Chatham Jets...
