Skymaster F14 Fully Loaded!!

Wow Trevor! Is there a lot of difference between this one and the earlier skymaster F-14?

Do you or Sandro have experience with the 160? If so how have they been for you guys? I’ve had two major failures with my 160. The first was last year, the tip of one of the compressor blades separated, and this year a few weeks ago I had a catastrophic failure of the compressor. 2 complete blades separated from the compressor wheel. Thankfully both times I was able to dead stick the planes back down to the runway with no damage. The second one a few weeks ago was pretty dramatic, the separated blades went through the turbine casing!! It’s at JetCentral now, I’m just waiting on a response, but I assume it will be under warranty, engine only has 5 hrs on it.. anyway don’t want to hijack your beautiful build thread. I absolutely love the F14.

Ah that suck Louis. No issues here but it can happen to them all. I had the same happen years ago to a Behotec220. Sure wakes you up when it happens LOL.

At least with Jet Central you will get it back as good as new free of charge. Unmatched lifetime warrantee program.

All the equipment is installed. Did this one different than the first SM F14.... 2 trays along the fuse sides for all the air valves and 2 trays in the nose for Powerbox Royal (on top) and turbine batts underneath. I also built a new nose cone to give us a nicer option for screen layouts.

Is meatloaf going to even use that awesome iGyro incorporated in the Royal? I’m not even sure he’ll know how to turn it on 🤦*♂️😜

One small detail problem. The lights on the wing tips are correct. Red on port, green on starboard, but the lights on the root by the inlets are reversed. I did not notice at first because I was blinded by it's awesomeness.
