A little moisture early this morning but should clear up later on.
We had folks flocking in yesterday, good flying.
The chefs from Arnprior showed up, packing turkeys and cookers!

Breafast is imminent. You shoukd be here.

Well, the weather yesterday was a tad disappointing, but there were breaks that allowed some serious flying. The gang had a great time.

Rolly and Cliff cooked up lots of the McRolly breakfast sandwiches. This time it was bacon instead of ham. (No Spam yet, but, ya never know, there is always next year ...)

Tree D and Marilyn provided a free round of hot dogs.

We had a nice 50/50 draw and the winner was ... wait for it ... drum roll ... Tree D !!!

The Hammond brothers and Dave Asquini from the Arnprior club cooked and served their famous deep fried turkey dinner. Dave's daughter's brownies were incredible. (Dave says he did not stop along the way to mix in any "Smiths Falls special ingredient" stuff).

There had beem night flying on Friday and I suspect that more may have occurred last night, as the weather had shaped up wel late in the day.

No crashes, no safaris into our local jungle. Good day, over all. Our expanded shelter area meant the no one had to de-rig or store their planes away during sprinkles.
We try our best to look after y'all at our Toyground.

    Today's weather should be perfect.

Had a great time Gary ...thanks to you and the gang at the Kingston club for the fine hospitality...just wanted to mention Mr French’s efforts at dinner ...he actually worked much harder than I in preparation so I did not want to steal his thunder!

Oops! I failed to mention him - he is such a quiet and shy fellow, too easy to overlook, eh! Pretty good flyer though, isn't he. Thanks, Mr. French, for your efforts!

    Re: K-Town Huck - Sept.21

A Big Thank You to everyone for attending the Kingston Huckin 3D weekend. It was a Huge success because of you. It has been elected to continue on for next year with the teem of Gary Roly Dave H. & myself. Special thanks to Roly and the breakfast teem for the most amazing McRolys ever, Dave & Rob H. Trevor French (hardest working man on the planet) for pulling of the most delicious deep fried turkeys and awesome supper fixings ever. Dave A for his daughters savory chocolate brownies, Leon for cooking lunch, Bruce & Harold For Perfectly manicured lawn conditions and all things operations, My wife Marilyn for helping with everything all weekend, I'm sure I'm missing some one, but lastly to Gary Droppo (Deerslayer), Roly, Dave Hammond, for putting up with my constant phone call's at all hours & advice seeking, . Your the greatest.

    Re: K-Town Huck - Sept.21

I had a Great time , The Kingston Club's hospitality was outstanding as Usual ! The weather cooperated to allow us to fly between some intermittent showers , but with the Fantastic new sheltered area we were all able to get our planes under cover without having to take them apart ,and had plenty of time to discuss the finer points of all things Airplane and do some serious horse trading !
The Best part of going to events is making new friends, and reacquaint with friends you haven't seen in a while... If you haven't traveled to events yet ,give it a try !
I'd like to Thank the Kingston Club for all the work that they did in order to make this event such a success, I'd also like to thank my Arnprior Crew for all the work they did to pull of the Saturday night dinner.

Looking Forward to Next Season as well !

    Dave Hammond
