Raven didn't make it of the ground, dropped a wheel on take off run and flipped it over. Just broke the prop.
This thing is quiet!!
Short vid, just watch the last 10 seconds.

Ya it was. Never had that happen to me before. Glad the gear is tough on the Raven, didn't hurt it.
Got to lean the motor in as well. Next time...
Ouch Rick!.
Did you happen to get it fixed and fly it?

Yes Jack, four flights on it since then. This DA 70 is awesome!! Many say it feels like a electric motor for smoothness and they are right! Will hover around a third throttle ( not that I can do it well ) I had a 24x10 when I lost the wheel, broke it and put on a falcon 25x8 wood. Now I have a motor that will rip a prop, never had that before! My telemetry smoked itself before I could use it. But the plane will climb out of site straight up for ever with no sag. Really liking the can and motor setup. Ya Trevor was right about the RPM but I'm still getting 7100 with that prop. The plane floored us for now quiet it is! My Yak with a EME 60 on a can is much louder. Jim wants to know so I will get some DB reading for him so I will next time out. I hope to make it to huckfest and get the motor guru's to see if I have all that I can get from it. I still think it has more to give but don't want to fry it.
Cool Rick. Really glad everything turned out well.
Congrats!!

I got my telemetry dialed in on the weekend on my 93 Laser. I’m running my da70 with 8.5” mtw headers, in to a planebender large smooth pipe with a 25x8w prop and spinning at 8400rpm.

Felt like X-Mas here LOL
Now all I need is the actual Mamba, I have 100% of everything I need. Flex is horribly slow at getting me a shipping quote....
