    Daaaaah 70 installed!

Picked up the aluminum motor mount at Toledo... clean and easy!

RPM and Temp telem. New plane, not sure how cooling will be so temperature telem is a must. Cheap insurance to protect the engine until I know cooling is fine!

Running the RE3 pipe at 8” headerlength.

Had this exact setup in my EF MXS and it was dynamite! 600+ rpm increase and incredibly linear across the midrange! Closest thing to electric LOL

Re: 120” Extreme Flight Bush Master

So the cowl has no air inlets. Weird. Instructions show how to do the cutouts and talk about installing a lip to suck the air out.

The spinner is smaller than the hole, so air will go in there. Not sure if enough. Will watch temp telem for first flights and see. Worst case I will cut 2 round inlets in front of the cowl and do ducting to each cylinder.

DA70 is a tight fit. Crazy how the cowl narrows down so quick at the front.

Yeah don't like that cooling system . I'd at least be cutting some vertical slots in front of the heads .

Ya it tapers significantly as it's modelled after the turbine powered Turbo Beaver, which has a PT-6 turbine on the full scale..

I just did the cowl cutting as they suggested and like you I've got the MT300 for head temp monitoring. What temp would you set your alarm at in the Jeti?

Also I didn't bother with that air dump flap thingy.....mmmmm, got me thinking....
