Jim,
Not discounting what you are saying. But you came on here, and with less than 5 posts on this Web site. You started saying Trevor ' s comments were wrong.
It could be a multitude of things. That and you started putting down the views of one of the most active and experienced hobbies ts in the country.
We have a small group here that uses that stand regularly. Collectively we have run over 100 engines on that stand. From 30 cc singles to 250 cc 7 cylinder radial. Quads twins . You name it, it has pretty much been run by us.
Trevor and a few of us even have manufacturers send us stuff to test and provide feedback.
We have only ever seen one other engine shake that stand like that.

The thing is that there a few other people running the DA35 that aren't getting the same result and with Trevor's experience I'm trusting that he would recognize something out of the ordinary. I'm assuming he has used this break in method/fuel mix on several other top shelf engines. If what you're saying is true then hopefully DA will echo that sentiment very soon.
I think the bigger issue here is that you are paying for superior customer service with DA and they haven't so much as responded regarding this engine yet.
Edit: Sorry Brad, we must have been typing posts at the same time...your post pretty well says it all!
So who's right or wrong here??
Nobody!!...there are a lot of people with a vast amount of experience and knowledge in this hobby and their findings may or may not be the same as what are posted on these forums.
I don't think anyone discounts the extensive testing that the fine gents do on engine and exhaust testing. Some peoples experiences are totally different and their voices should be heard as well. What someone wants to make of it is their business....
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and experiences, just as you have about DA's service. I do believe they strive for a 5 day response but of course can vary a lot on work load. There are other options that can provide parts in just a few days. If this matters to you, then you should most certainly choose the engine that has most efficient service for you.
I think for all of us this is a great hobby, let's make it fun and most of all fly what you want with pride...I do!!!!!!!!![]()

Even for us so called bottom shelf users jack?
I think they are on the bottom shelf so they are easy to reach cause they fly off the shelf. Have to get a ladder out to get that "top shelf" engine for the rare passer by bahaha
