Hey gents,
I've recently bought a few Falcon carbon props that had hubs way out of balance, at least by my standard. I would like to try Mejzlik. What I'm curious about is how they compare for load. I know the Falcon 24x9 is about right on my GP61, would the Mejzlik 24x9 be about the same? How about the thin props, what would be the expected advantage/disadvantage?
Thanks!

I can only add that I do not think I will be buying any more Falcon props either. Between center holes off (wood props) and bad hub balance on cf,..I think i'll spend my money elsewhere.
I found Xoar cf to be good as well, But Mejzlik seem to be the best quality / value in Carbon.

That's been about my experience with Falcon, but probably only the last two years or so. The first few carbon props I bought from them were great.
Now that you mention Xoar, I have a couple of their wood props that were balanced dead on both hub and blades right out of the package. It's too bad they never seem to be in stock where I normally shop and they have limited different pitches available...it looks like the only make a 24x10 in carbon.
Chintz vs Mejzlik??
No contest....Mejzlik for me thanks!!![]()

I am trying to decide on new Carbon Fiber prop for a DA100. Will most likely go with a Mejzlik, just not sure on size yet.
I have a borrowed Xoar 27x10 cf on there now, but not quite enough. Anyway, it will not be a Falcon unless i can see it, balance it, and see that it fits first before buying. Ha!!

I've never had a real problem with a Falcon prop but Mejzlik do seem to be of higher quality. I found out last year while ordering a couple of large 3 blades direct from Mejzlik in Czechoslovakia that they prepay the shipping on orders over a certain value. It was a very pleasant surprise and the package arrived efficiently and there was nothing (HST + handling) due on receipt.

Hi Jim, it's the older version. Only 3 flights, but its a sweetheart of an engine. Think i'm going to try a Mejzlik 27x10 if i cant find one ill order one up. I have it running ritch at the moment, until i get some more flights on it. I bought it used, but it was sent to da before I purchased it. Rips the Xoar 27x10.
