Hey Brodie,
Not sure on your travel path, but if you need a rest stop BEFORE getting to Toronto traffic mess, and are going the 401 way ( say coming from the US) detroit rock city way, but if I were you, I’d consider coming through the Saulte and bipass all the big city stuff......
I am about 5 hours or so away from HITV
Have plenty of room for you and the trailer/RV , there is a flying J at my exit as well. ( I am just minutes from the highway.
You are welcome to take a breather here / shower bbq etc before the final push
Let me know

My route will be through northern Ontario and bypass everything. I don’t wanna go through the states with the trailer and deal with border crossings. And from what I’ve read taking 17 is shorter but slower and more hills turns etc. Taking 11 is longer but same time and avoid all the traffic etc. Since I’ve never driven across Canada it will be a fun road trip. She will be a super long day one the. Hoping to reach the field by Thursday night before dark. If my rig isn’t working I will leave a day or two early. I booked the 23 to 29 off

Awesome Brodie. Strap down the planes well - the route over the top of the lakes is a bumpy ride. Have driven it many times with the sled trailer and it gives the suspension a good workout.
Apparently Ontario taxes don't cover that stretch of road, LOL.

17 is the transcanada over the top of the lakes. Beautiful but bumpy. Take 17 right to Arnprior and keeps you away from southern Ontario and Toronto. 11/400 will take you right into Toronto.

So how many hours a day can you drive Brodie? Looks like a three day trip with 8 hours of driving each day from Thunder Bay to Arnprior..
What is it from your house to Thunder Bay another 2 - 3 days?
It will be a nice Scenic drive.
But you definitely want to steer clear of HWY 11 and the 400 and 401 as Mr. T states.
