Yeah, it looks that simple from that perspective.

But I also think the rider was a little too aggressive on the front brake on the bike. If he wasn't breaking so hard, the bike would have just run over the car and just kept going. By hard-breaking the front brake, it locked up and endoe'd when it ran over the bike and re-contacted the ashpalt. Whoops!

Your right, that was an amateur move for the biker to panic and lock his front wheel but you asked who screwed up. If the car did not cross the center line the race would have finished.
