Wow had a good day of flying Monday at the Phalen RC Club open house event. This is the same place we are holding the first two days of flying in Ottawa for the jet event. June 28,29 Thursday and Friday. This a great club to relax and burn some Jet-A or EDF it good! Saturday the 30th is at the Carp Airport. Sunday is Canada Day so all in all a great long weekend of flying/fun/fireworks for everyone. Lots of guys came out with jets Monday so I will say this locally Jets in Ottawa are showing great growth with lots of new pilots.

For those whom have never been to the Ottawa Valley Jets event I'll post a basic Time schedule for the entire weekend.

Phalen RC Club - Jet Days Thursday 28 June 9-5 Lunch is BBQ Hamburg's + Sausage
Thursday Evening Food & Drink at the Swan on the Rideau
British Style pub about a 5min drive from the field
Start time anytime after 5pm Check out FB " Swan on the Rideau"

Ottawa Valley Jets Carp Airport field Setup Friday Afternoon 3-5pm
All Volunteers appreciated. You can set up your pop-up tents and trailers
on site for the evening. Test Flying Friday Evening avail 5pm onward
" Air Boss Jeff Daly will be on hand to help After testing Jets can be stored
over night at Carp Airport Hangar.

Ottawa Valley Jets Carp Airport Saturday 30th June 9-5 Lunch is BBQ from Carp Airport
staff and all profits going to local Charities the airport supports.
Registration 10$ for the day ensure you have MAAC Card or AMA with you
or no flying. 3pm Draw for pilots and trophies to be handed out we will not
shut down the flying to do this - More to be explained on site at pilots
briefing at 9am. After 5pm Field clean up and Teardown volunteers
appreciated. Everyone welcome to celebrate the end of event at
the Barley Mow Stittsville about a 10min drive from the airport
