Well 28lbs sounds light but it has a small wing area, 1800ish which is not far off some of the big 70cc airframes. You must have known that I was gonna do mufflers anyways! LOL
Side not and to derail the 580 thread but I did also buy the aero plus 111" that Lorne had there, sweet price couldn't pass it up!!! So to power that airframe I bought a gp 123 as well! Gonna do pipes, will need help with that so any suggestions would be grand!

Ha!! Dean - you're gonna be tearing it up this Spring! Wow.
Well.. the 5" CF Spinner and Powerbox Mercury for Ed's Slick580 arrived. Hope to finish it off and do a driveway shakedown this weekend!! Eager to see where CG comes out (tonight's job). Need to research where guys are liking the CG.

Got the EF Slick580 finished today.
A pair of those lightweight Pulse batts are just behind the Mercury. Rudder servo is in tail with direct link. CG is on the TE of the wingtube which seems to be the preferred location from those that have flown them already.

Quick video of the Shakedown.
Sweet setup, looks great.
Ed, sure you don't want to trade that DA for a GP?![]()
