Comparison Foam to Foam and Welders glue.
I changed this up and used the Welders today instead of the Foam to Foam only because I have to go to the LHS to get some ca tomorrow.
I glues the CF leading edge strip, the nose, and the portions forward supporting the side force generators.
Note I have previously used the Welders and the Foam to Foam but not close enough together to do a great comparison, results as follows:

Welders, good glue, stinky, messy. Comapre to Foam to Foam, good glue, no smell, clean to work with.

Which would I use?? Both are great glues but so long as I am going to the LHS I will get more Foam to Foam if in stock. I prefer the no glue smell.

Steve, are you going to cut the servo wires to length, remove the connectors and solder the wires directly to the Rx?

Hi Rick, great question.
The objective is merely to get to the 100 gram airframe weight so not required. I will remove the plastic connectors on 3 if required however on 2 units the option is to solder direct because the Jeti receiver is designed that way. The good thing is that because I do field service I can solder quite well, nothing ugly will happen.

Make sure to use a turbo torch for adequate heat

Took last night off, should get an hour or two in tonight I would think.
This time I will time.myself and see how long it takes to install.the bottom vertices and stick farm on each one, see if time is really saved on performing a task 5 times - bored

Such a noob mistake, best to let the glue set til tomorrow on these, then do the sticks. in the meantime there are thing to cut out and things to glue

Let me elaborate on the noob mistake part, didn't think about the kicker, you don't want other glues to not be set if you are going to use the kicker.
Tonight I will get to the stick farm, nice thing is I spent only an hour on building last night. As always keep everything weighted down while the glue does it's thing.

Not sure if anyone noticed the flight video I put in the 2m Vertigo in tbrums thread or not. There is a relation to that video and my next build ( unfortunately not a Vertigo ) and that is the pilot. I wonder if anyone is able to figure that out without google??
