Got the cowl opened up. Really strange inlets for cylinder cooling. I think we will need temp sensors for this one - I’m a little suspect that these openings are enough for the GP176evo.
Birch donut standoff depth = 24mm

Got the engine positioned in the cowl and standoff Hysol’d to the firewall.
Will mount the GP176evo tonight!!!

GP176evo installed and MTW knuckle headers fab’d up!
Tonight I will work on canister install!

Went with MTW TDK-120 front exhaust cans. These fit perfectly in the fuse and the front exhaust will exit in perfect location.
12” header length.

Trevor maybe what we should do is open a square hole with rounded corners and bend and glue a thin aluminum lip to create some negative pressure to draw air through the engine on the bottom of the cowl

Decided to support these TDK-120’s with 2 supports. To make it easier to install the exhaust the front can mount is a split unit!

Throttle servo install.
Picture shows the rough box made up. Then went to town sanding on the drum sander until it fit tight against the inside of the mbox.
Pictures are a bit deceiving... over 2” of clearance between end of arm and exhaust.
Endpoints are close to+\-100% so good resolution!
