He is soon going to need a tractor trailer to haul around all these monsters!!

The painter does custom motorbike jobs. Let's see how the paintwork fairs out first and then i'll get the contact info from Sandro, LOL

Sean at Strictly Scale has been adding a ton of new Scale F18 products to his website.

He just sent us these cool light frames!! His website shows them for the 1/7th scale (like the Yellow) but Sean also made us a custom set for this larger Skymaster F18!!!!

For the 2 on the fins, I first sanded off the ones moulded in, then cut out the opening, then did icing and primed it and finally glued in the frames!!

4 to go!!

Both done on the back of the fuse!!

These 2 fit perfectly over the stock moulding!!

They look great trev! It's a small detail and once painted will just blend in like it always should have been there! I didn't realize i hadn't added the new size to the website, I'll fix that tomorrow. Thanks!

Here is some progress on the install of the light frames on the sides of the nose!!

Pic #1... Skymaster has the moulded in frames as raised. The real F18 has these front nose frames flush with the fuse skin... no raised frame.

I cut them out, inserted Sean's frames flush and did the bodywork and reprimed.

Still a bit more bodywork and priming tonight but making progress!!

Anymore updates Trevor, love watching your builds... need more ideas before I start my 1/6 scale this fall.
