Yep, this is the crimping tool: http://www.thunderboltrc.com/index.p...roducts_id=280
And everything else you need can be found here: http://www.thunderboltrc.com/index.p...index&cPath=82

You just buy bulk wire in the gauge of your choice and whichever connectors you choose. I keep quite a bit "in stock" just in case a need arises.

It took me a few tries to get nice solid crimps that I was happy with, but once you figure it out you're good to go. I've found the smaller the wire gauge the easier it is to work with. The 20awg silicone shielded wire is tough to get into the connectors, but worth it if you are doing long runs with high draw servos.

Thanks Cory. Very useful info right there. It would have been great if I knew about this a while ago. Just didn't twig on to it I guess. Would have been a lot cleaner installation into my Suer Cub as the wings span 141 in, so long servowires are a must . Also , there is three high torque servos at the tail feathers to operate the ass end of this thing . The fuse is 91 inches long, so lots of copper in this machine! Thanx again Cory .

Is it possible that having the HK carb on the DA, is like a foundry reunion?
Makes total sense to me Scott. Definitely not far fetched.
