That's awesome...I think this is what Flex needs to do for the Aura. Since you are managing all your trims, rates, servo directions etc in the Aura a Bluetooth/WiFi adapter coupled with a smartphone would make it almost as convenient to make changes at the field as it is in your radio.
I'm sure there are already micro USB Bluetooth adapters you could plug into the Aura that would just make it think it was hardwired to a device, now if only Flex would release the software for Android/Iphone we'd be able to do it.
All that said, I have 4 Auras now and I've done pretty well getting them dialled in at home...brought my laptop to the field once. Now that I have a few setups I just copy a similar one, do the fine tuning at home and dial in any trimming mechanically over a few flights.

For some reason I still have zero interest in trying a gryo, hasn't even crossed my mind really. One thing I wish was when people post vids that tell us if one was used or not.........

Damn that sucks Bodie. I just picked up a motor bike that the dealer charged 1600 to take apart and was going to be too expensive to put together. Got a great deal. 3 hours later I'm the proud new owner of a smooth running jackpot ness addition. Didn't even want a bike but at the price I paid it couldn't be refused. Isn't the first box of parts I've received that had no problems with the contents.

Exactly! There's this big misconception that flying with a gyro is going to allow you to do things you couldn't do before. It's just like flying in really still air all the time.
There is a big resistance to trying them, but I haven't encountered anyone that's tried one and didn't like it. The exception of course being a crummy gyro or a poorly setup one. You'll notice that most people who try them end up buying them for all their planes shortly after.
Dean, you should really give it a try and then pass judgement! Too bad you don't live closer, my little 48" Edge is a good demonstrator, its amazing how well it flies in crummy conditions for such a small light plane.

Nothing to do with flying but pretty cool.
