Hey Peter. Once I have sealed the nipples with Hysol and installed Festo tubing I inject a bit of this BVM oil into both ends. Amazing stuff - it swells the orings a bit. You can also use white lithium grease but not as effective as this stuff. I’ve had good luck with lithium grease if the oring is scuffed or damaged a bit and you can’t get replacements.

With all the cylinders rebuilt, I will now start at the rear and work my way towards the front

    Elevator night!!

JR8911bls servos. 900oz-in should be enough

Took an evening of messing around to make spacers so that the triple-bearing arms just clear the fuse so that the arms fit between the fuse-elevator gap without binding.

Looks like finicky work getting those stab servos lined up perfectly, nice job 👍

Love how those 8911 brushless donít buzz....what a nice change when youíre working around a plane 🙂

Ya! Seriously considering doing a mix of JR8911 and JR8944 on my upcoming Rogue. These servos are so smooth, no buzzing, insanely powerful and soft start.

Hey Trev are there ball bearings or just bushings on the tube that the flying stabs rotate around.

    Those are some Killer Servos.

    Beauty plane Eric!

So Eric went all out with lighting package on this beast!!

But I need to make up functioning lenses. Mainly red and green.

Just made up a couple big blocks of West System epoxy with a bit of red and green food colouring!! Once cured I will carve lenses out of these blocks!!
