Got to ask this question. Does any one out there know if a Da , DLE or any other 100 cc engine would have the same diameter crankshaft as my old BH 100s? These are great little engines . I have two of them. Both have succumbed to the same ailment- sheared or stripped prob hub bolt holes. I was using new bolts with Nord lock washers each time the bolts sheared off . Just too much power from this little China gems ; Right Wing Burner?Ha ha! The crankshafts on these motors is tapered of course where the hub keys in. The shaft measures 14 mm at the start of the taper and tapers up to 17 mm next to the outer crank shaft bearing. The length of the tapered part of the crank is 15 mm long and then beyond the taper there is a 15 mm long thread for the prop hub nut. I would really like to get one of these 100s running again to install into a 114 in. Graupner Vans R4. Any info is appreciated.

I just happen to have a spare hub that I'll probably never use. The magnet is installed and it is close to your measurements.
10 bucks plus the price of postage and it's yours. If course you would have to recheck your timing as I'm not sure the pickup position is the same as yours.

Joe. Thankyou for your reply. That hub of yours might just do the trick . When I put my hub backside down on a flat surface(prop side of hub face up ) , my hub measures exactly 25 mm tall . Also if you look directly at the face of the prop hub with the keyway at the 12 o’clock position, the trigger magnet is at approximately 3 o’clock. Also my magnet is drilled as far reward on the hub as allowable. Is yours close to that. I would definitely be interested if it meets these parameters . Thanks a bunch. Front to back its 33mm tall, the magnet is 180 degrees from the keyway. The magnet is also all the wag as far back as it could go.

It might be do able Joe. I would have to re drill the hub and replace the magnet. That might not be impossible, but the length kinda worries me. I’ll let you know what I’m gonna do Joe in a while. It’s a good deal at any rate , and I really appreciate the offer. Thanks so much. Lowrider out.

No worries Lowrider, but instead of drilling out the magnet, what I would do is use a universal pickup and move the pickup. It's much easier than moving the magnet.
