Important - new faa rules - last chance to comment...

The FAA (The United States Federal Aviation Administration) has released an NPRM (Notice of Proposed Rulemaking) regarding Small UAS (R/C Airplanes, Drones, Gilders, Helicopters - anything that flies and is remotely controlled) for Remote Identification. If this NPRM becomes law as currently written - it will decimate the RC Model Hobby.
This is a FINAL reminder to comment on this NPRM. The comment period ends Monday, March 2nd at 11:59pm EST.

    Watch this video:

If you live in the United States - you can comment here: https://www.federalregister.gov/docu...rcraft-systems

Read and Review the AMA Comment Guide website - this is a great resource that highlights individual issues within the NPRM. You can find it here: http://amablog.modelaircraft.org/ama...ormal-comment/

Also - keep in mind: Do not cut and paste your comment. Make it personal, and be polite and respectful.

If you live in Canada (or any other country) - you can still help! Share this info with anyone that you know in the hobby!

If you have flown or plan to fly in the United States - submit a comment!

Express concern that as a Canadian (or resident of any other foreign country), you will not be able to continue to fly in the United States because of the new NPRM rules, as well as the costs and difficulty of remote ID. Describe your visits to the United States - the clubs, friends, etc. that you visited. Describe the businesses your interacted with during your visits - hotels, restaurants, gas stations, service companies, R/C hobby suppliers - if you can't fly in the United States, you can't spend money in the United States!

Remember - be polite and respectful!

If you do not have the time to do it right, where do you get the time to do it over?
