But in a case like this with lazy electrons doesn’t the theory of relativity trump(no pun intended) ohms law? if the electrons are heated to a point they may only fall down and not have the power, charge or jump to make an effective “jump”” across the gap?

Me thinks you guys are all high. All this talk about overheated, lazy electrons is making me - - well- - Lazy!

If there is any credibility to these lazy electrons not jumping the plug gap, , well then my chopped top 34 Plymouth street rod, equipped with high performance Chryco 440, should never , ever tallied up 40,000 miles, like it did. Space was extremely tight( and hot enough to boil a Christmas goose ), and guess where the spark plugs wires were routed—- right tight to and above the big old cast iron exhaust manifolds!

Great point Ed! What everyone is forgetting here are the basics. My braided spark plug wires are not any where near being super conductors! They are high tension, high resistance wire conductors and I believe these wires are too stupid to know that! Especially these cheap Chinese spark plug wires. What say you, Wingburner??

It’s a bad idea just because it could cause a hotspot for cooling

Orville, all these guys responding are Chintz runners so I have no clue of the language they speak!. None of it works with top shelf equipment at The Hut!
If it were me I'd go naked cowl.
