    Thrust tube question.

What should the inside diameter of a thrust tube be for 100N turbine? How about 120N? Is there a formula relating thrust to I.D.?

    Re: Thrust tube question.

Maybe someone with a jet using 100N turbine could measure your pipe.

    Re: Thrust tube question.

A quick guess is about 500mm. I can measure the plane to be more accurate. Does the length make a difference to required I.D. ?

    Re: Thrust tube question.

Yes 70mm is fine. I once asked Gaspar from JetMunt for his recommendation and he said 70mm for a 100 is fine if you have small intakes. For large intakes use an 80-85mm pipe. Small intakes/small pipe. Large intakes/large pipe

If you do not have the time to do it right, where do you get the time to do it over?
